So who is Pyro Pete?

After making his mark as the premier special effects designer and technician for such bands as Gun & Roses, Metallica, KISS, Ozzy Osborne and The Rolling Stones to name few, (he was profiled on the Discovery Channel series “On the inside”.) Pyro Pete has gone from burning up performers to burning up the crowd. With his dark, yet refreshing look on the world, he’s sometimes creepy and always funny.

Pyro Pete is proof that old punk rock kids never die; they just get better tattoos and more attitude.  Too many people in the industry worry about clean comics, or dirty comics. Pete is a funny comic whose more depraved than dirty. With topics ranging from scaring children on Halloween while dressed as a nun with a leather fetish, to helping his mom see the sights of Vegas, Pete’s show is funny. …Like trailer trash in flip flops and mini-skirt funny. So see him and see for yourself the fireworks of Pyro Pete.

By the time Pete gets up on stage, the situation is ugly. The front section is packed with members of a rugby team who have showed up to watch their buddy perform. They are having a loud, drunken cavort and ignoring the comics.

But Pete lives for this kind of thing. He grabs their attention by the short hairs within seconds. For the only time that night, the entire bar focuses. They even laugh at his vicious swipes at rugby. Then he finishes and the bar resumes its cacophony, proving once and for all that it’s not the venue, it’s the comedians.

Pyro Pete has been seen on MW, VH1, Canadian “Much Music” and the Discovery channel.

Recent appearances Comedy Zones all over the country, Catch a rising star- Reno. The Comedy Store -LA. The Improv - LA. The Laugh Factory- LA, The Punch Line S.F.... Various gigs through hell…     it was an off week.
