Fresh, sassy, and funny describes Kathleen's show.  Her comedy has been described as "a little class . . . . with a lot of attitude". Audiences around the country are praising this hilariously funny lady. Kathleen is one the funniest female comics to hit the industry in years.

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and later becoming a divorced mother has provided her with a quick wit along with a realistic look at life. Since her first appearance, this lady as been taking the comedy industry by storm.  The stories of her life, family and experiences are great, but also something we can all relate to.

Prior to stand-up comedy, Kathleen performed with Comedy Sportz in Milwaukee for 2 years and then became a character actor with a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater.  She worked there for 8 years playing various characters.  One of the characters she played was a Catholic nun and this gave her the perfect opportunity to put her comedy sarcasm to good use.

Friends watched her develop and encouraged her to go to a amateur night for stand-up comedy. She always dreamed of doing stand-up but was terrified to be on stage all alone. Despite her fear, she signed up, and to no one's surprise she ROCKED!  Three weeks later she was signed to open for Emo Philips at Skyline Comedy Cafe in Appleton, Wisconsin. Kathleen's been making people laugh all over the county ever since.

In May 2002 she relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada. Although she sadly misses her son Chad, she happily reports he got married last year to his beautiful wife Aimee.

But she is also happy to report the opening of her show March 1, 2004 "Kathleen Dunbar's Divas of Comedy" at the Sahara Hotel and Casino.  Las Vegas "What's On" magazine current said "She sold her house, packed her bags and moved out here to give comedy a serious chance.  She's quick-witted.   I think she's a sitcom waiting to happen".  She also was the Comedy Winner of the "2003 Star Search - Las Vegas Edition " competition held at the Sunset Station Hotel and Casino, sponsored by KLAS Channel 8.  In 2003 she was the Tour Manager for the Laugh Across America Comedy Competition as well as Host for the 2002 and 2003 Las Vegas Comedy Festivals.  She is making her mark in Las Vegas and around the country. We will be see a lot of Kathleen in the future!
